  • 100% Australian Wool
  • 3” raw edge stiffened brim
  • Band handwoven in Guatemala

Hatband handwoven from recycled denim and cotton yarns, created in collaboration with a cooperative of Mayan women weavers in Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala. The women use a tapestry technique to weave each band individually on a small treadle loom.

Our partners source the recycled denim thread from The New Denim Project, where they collect and sort post-industrial waste from local garment factories, grounding the scraps back into fiber, to spin once again into new yarn to weave and upcycle. The process is chemical-free, dye-free, and uses minimal water and energy. No synthetic fibers are added, committed to creating products that are all 100% natural.

Due to their handmade nature, products may vary slightly from the photos. Our hats are handmade in small batches, and restocks may take time.
